San Francisco Food Bank
In San Francisco and Marin over 237,000 people struggle to feed themselves and their families on a daily basis. The San Francisco Food Bank supports over 450 local neighborhood food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers, homeless shelters, and youth programs. Meghan has worked with this organization in the past and regularly supports them. Their effect on peoples lives is very real and direct.
Surfrider Foundation
Their mission is the protection and enjoyment of oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. They work to keep our oceans and beaches clean and to keep the coastline publicly accessible. We surf and swim in the ocean and take so much enjoyment from it. We care very deeply that it stays clean and is accessible for all.
America's Elect
Americans Elect is the first nonpartisan nomination. This group is using the Internet to break the gridlock in Washington, open up the political process and give every single voter-Democrat, Republican or independent-the power to nominate a presidential ticket in 2012. Robyn believes that more choices will allow more change. Please give, or even better, just vote!
